  • Beginning Boutique is seeking an E-commerce Returns Assistant to assist in processing of return orders and shipments within the specified timeframes.

Duties and tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • Monitoring inbound return operations, ensure all shipments are being processed accurately and efficiently
  • Monitoring workload and reporting to manager

E-Commerce Warehouse Manager

Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the warehouse and ensuring the daily operations run smoothly. You will work closely with the team leads and senior management to help set priorities and give the team what they need to succeed.

You will have a drive to succeed, can think quickly on your feet and will do what it takes to help the team and the business complete any goal that is set.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the warehouse and its staff are compliant with all WHS requirements set out by Worksafe QLD.
  • Assessing and maintaining WHS policies, ensuring they are followed daily by the team.
  • Ensuring all WorkCover and WorkSafe requirements are understood, up to date and followed accurately.
  • Consistently checking in with the Team Supervisors to ensure each team is meeting and exceeding their KPI’s, brand promises and operating efficiently.
  • Fortnightly one on one meetings with all direct reports, daily huddles and weekly toolbox meetings.
  • Maintaining the heartbeat, culture and core values of the business throughout the warehouse.
  • Weekly rostering in line with business requirements.
  • Hiring team members in line with business requirements and peak trading periods.
  • Accountable for the accuracy of inventory and warehouse capacity.
  • Accountable for all outbound and inbound parcels in line with business KPI’s and brand promises.
  • Overseeing all departments in the warehouse and ensuring everyone has what they need.
  • Ensuring the storage of goods in the warehouse is arranged appropriately and efficiently, organising any special requirement stock to be housed.
  • Ensuring the coordination of stock movements between multiple locations and areas.
  • Reporting weekly warehouse walkthroughs, safety checks and management of warehouse and logistics.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Highly skilled in Google Suite, Gmail and WMS Systems and E-commerce software
  • Previous experience with Peoplevox and Netsuite highly regarded
  • Previous rostering experience
  • Proactive attitude with minimal requirement for consistent management
  • Strong leadership and proven people management skills
  • Understanding of logistics and freight systems
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (approachable, positive, motivated, go-getter attitude)

Logistics Coordinator

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this person will ensure our logistics operations run smoothly, accurately and in a timely manner. You will ensure our shipping is also as economical and environmentally friendly as possible. As an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail, you will work closely with team leads and senior management to help give the team what they need to succeed. You will provide end-to-end administrative support across all logistical and supply chain related functions.

You will be well-versed in supply management principles and practices and be able to quickly identify potential challenges with shipments early enough to resolve them before they grow into problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers, customs agents and freight companies.
  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to business requirements
  • Keep logs and records of shipments
  • Track and analyse mis-shipments to ensure they don’t occur again
  • Invoice coding for freight invoices and HS Code requirements
  • Daily and time critical management of shipment exceptions and customs clearance issues
  • Internal reporting on lead times and carrier performance
  • Assist with identifying areas where we can improve the logistics network and work with management to implement
  • Coordinating freight booking and approval process
  • Coordinating the import process and ensure all documents are provided from suppliers in a timely manner

  • Develop and maintain documented procedures, practices and techniques for effective Logistics activities to ensure our business needs are met.
  • Consolidating freight to ensure that we are shipping in the most economical way.
  • Helping our sustainability team recognise and review emission for freight.
  • Other Supply Chain Administration Roles as required
  • Any other reasonable task as directed by your manager

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of logistics and freight system

FT Warehouse Storeperson

Beginning Boutique is currently looking for a Warehouse Store Person to join us in our Warehouse Team.

A day in the life of a Warehouse Store Person is never the same! It will involve, but is not limited to the following:

You will get to work with our team to help get our product on site.  This position needs to run through a university and is 100-hour unpaid internship that ends with the course requirement or needs to be undertaken by the student as experiential learning with the same hours.  We require 1 day a week and are looking for 2 interns this semester.
