The Social Media and PR Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting Beginning Boutique’s social media and public relations initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for social media, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content, build brand awareness, and maintain positive relationships with media outlets and influencers.Responsibilities:
- Assist with editing and uploading across Socials and tagging of products on feed
- Download and organise influencer and customer content
- Manage and sort influencer Instagram direct messages for collaborations
- Stay across social media trends
- Be up to date with popular culture for a fast reaction on social media
- Use excellent copywriting skills for captions and story content
- Work with the Social Media Coordinator on engaging, educational and entertaining content for social media.
- Use Canva to upload ad hoc story content
- Attend brainstorm sessions and actively contribute ideas
- Replying to comments on influencer posts across all social media channels
- Assist with the send out of PR boxes for campaign launches
- Review applications in DM’s and work with team to approve and disapprove.
- Action orders once approved with team. Assist with any ad hoc tasks.
- Create discount codes and assist with setting up affiliates into our platform.
- Assist with reporting
Requirements::
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following
- Social media/communications/marketing degree, or similar
- Proven work experience as social media assistant/intern
- Understanding of social media concepts and practices
- Willingness to follow industry trends and current methods
- Computer savvy; working knowledge of google sheets
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Knowledge in creating artwork in Canva
- Well-organised, able to work with deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Thinks outside the box in terms of content
- Work experience in similar field or role
- Fashion/retail industry experience highly regarded
- Knowledge of social media trends and scheduling content

As a Merchandise Planner at Beginning Boutique, your purpose is to contribute to the strategic planning and execution of key initiatives that drive the success of our brand and ensure alignment with market trends. You play a crucial role in supporting the Product team by providing insightful analyses, leveraging data-driven decision-making, and assisting in the development of comprehensive plans that enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the business.Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external parties
- Check pricing is accurate for all new styles prior to launch
- Administration associated with order raising and order management, with accuracy
- Build range/slot plans by the required deadlines and ensure these are used properly by the team.
- Prepare weekly details for HOD & Finance on required spends for stock.
- Review, plan and reforecast all lines, putting forward appropriate recommendations for repeats and stock management
- Monitor and manage production schedules, inventory levels, and logistics to minimise stockouts and overstock situations.
- Suggest required promotions to meet sales and stock requirements, including markdown management
- Planning GP & FM for profit targets.
- Conducting data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in sales and inventory data.
- Push outs/pull forwards/cancellations actioned to ensure sales are maximised and stock is managed to an agreed stock turn/wc.
- Achieve key performance metrics such as sales targets, inventory turnover, and gross margin.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of forecasting models
- Generating reports and dashboards to communicate key performance metrics to the team (not limited to), prior to meeting:
- Daily projected sales
- Weekly trade reports
- Monthly SWOT
- Seasonal PSA
- Weekly ranging reports
- Weekly incoming purchases
- MFP weekly data update
- Conduct analysis on any focus area as required to assist team/manager
- Regular competitive analysis undertaken
- Rolling stock
- Ensure extended sizes are constantly growing and expanding with all repeat orders
- Reduce sellouts & avoid overstocks of certain sizes
Requirements::

We are seeking an accomplished and versatile Senior Stylist and Shoot Manager to lead our styling and shoots in producing compelling visual content. This dual role requires a seasoned stylist who can bring innovative concepts to life while also overseeing the seamless execution of photo shoots. The Senior Stylist and Shoot Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining a high standard of creativity that aligns with the vision from our Creative Director.Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise, develop, and implement creative styling concepts for a variety of photo shoots, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and market trends.
- Collaborate closely with our Creative Director, photographers, models, hair and makeup artists, and other team members to bring styling visions to fruition.
- Curate wardrobe, accessories, and props, demonstrating an acute understanding of fashion and design.
- Lead end-to-end management of photo shoots, from pre-production planning to post-production follow-up.
- Coordinate with photographers, models, hair and makeup artists, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow on set.
- Oversee logistical aspects, including location scouting, equipment rental, and prop acquisition.
- Mentor and support junior stylists, encouraging their professional development.
- Uphold a standard of excellence in styling, ensuring all elements contribute to a cohesive and visually appealing final product.
- Conduct research on trends to enhance and elevate shoots (locations, hair, makeup etc)
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop and manage budgets for each photo shoot, optimising resources while maintaining high standards.
- Evaluate and propose cost-effective solutions without compromising creative integrity.
Requirements::
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Design, or a related field.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with the technical aspects of photo shoot production.
- 6+ years of experience in styling, with a focus on photo shoots.
- Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Senior Stylist in the fashion or related industry.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of styling projects.
