FASHION DESIGNER

Beginning Boutique is where fashion meets feeling. We design for the moments that matter in our customer’s life, from everyday outfits to standout nights, creating pieces that feel right the moment she puts them on.
We are looking for a Designer who lives and breathes trends, brings fresh ideas and wants to create product that captures the moment, gets shared and worn on repeat.
This is a role for a designer who is fast, collaborative and ideas-driven, excited to shape a range that moves quickly and connects deeply with our customer.

The role

You will design trend-led, commercial product that elevates the Beginning Boutique brand. Working closely with Buying and Product Development, you will bring ideas to life from initial inspiration through to sample, ensuring designs feel current, wearable and distinctly BB.

You will own sketches, CADs and trend concepts, contributing to seasonal stories and helping define how the range looks and feels.

What you will do:

  • Spot trends early across TikTok, Instagram, street style, culture and global fashion
  • Turn inspiration into original designs customers want to wear right now
  • Create sketches, CADs and design concepts across assigned categories
  • Build mood boards and design stories that shape the look of each drop
  • Design prints, graphics, placements and colour stories where relevant
  • Work closely with Product Development to bring designs to life in sampling
  • Protect design intent through fit and sample feedback
  • Support styling and direction for shoots and content as needed
  • Keep design libraries, CAD boards and collections up to date

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–6 years experience in fashion or apparel design
  • Strong personal taste and a clear point of view
  • Deep understanding of the 18–24 customer and what excites her
  • Confident in Adobe Illustrator and design tools
  • Solid grasp of fit, construction and fabrics
  • Comfortable working fast, taking feedback and evolving ideas
  • Experience in a trend-driven, high-volume or eCommerce brand preferred

PRODUCTION & SOURCING MANAGER

Beginning Boutique is a fast-growing, female-founded fashion brand designing and producing our own product for a global customer. We create pieces for the moments that matter in her life and we care deeply about quality, fit and delivering product she loves, on time and done properly.
We are looking for a Production & Sourcing Manager to own how our product moves from development to bulk. This role is central to ensuring our designs land in the right moment, protecting quality, hitting timelines and building strong factory partnerships as the business scales.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows apparel production inside out, enjoys being close to the detail and takes pride in delivering product that shows up exactly when it should.

The role

You will own the end-to-end production process across our supplier base, ensuring every style is delivered on time, to specification and at margin. You will work closely with Buying, Design and Planning to keep product moving, solve problems early and continuously improve how we work.

You will also lead our technical function and play a key role in building systems, standards and supplier accountability that support long-term growth.

What you will do:

  • Own production critical paths from sampling through to bulk delivery
  • Align sample readiness with photoshoots and launch timelines
  • Lead day-to-day supplier communication and performance
  • Identify and resolve production risks early
  • Own costing accuracy and support margin protection

BUYING MANAGER

Beginning Boutique designs and builds product for the moments that matter in our customer’s life. From everyday outfits to standout occasions, we create fashion that feels right in the moment, performs commercially and keeps customers coming back.
We are looking for a Buying Manager to lead category performance, shape the range and develop a high-performing team of Buyers and Designers as the business continues to scale.
This is a player-coach role for a commercial, trend-aware buyer who loves being close to the product, making clear calls and building winning ranges.

The role

As Buying Manager, you will own the performance of your categories end to end. You will build and trade ranges, make decisions on repeats and markdowns, and balance trend, margin and momentum throughout the season.

You will buy and trade your own categories while leading and developing a team, setting direction, lifting capability and ensuring consistency in how decisions are made. You will work closely with Planning, Production, Creative and Marketing to ensure product lands on time, tells the right story and performs as expected.

What you will do:

  • Shape and trade commercially strong, trend-relevant ranges
  • Make fast, confident calls on repeats, exits and markdowns
  • Balance newness, core winners and emerging trends to drive full-price performance
  • Partner with Planning on budgets, margin targets and buy phasing

HEAD OF PRODUCT

We are looking for a Head of Product to lead our Buying, Design and Production functions and shape the future of the range as the brand continues to scale.
This is a senior, hands-on role for a product leader who can balance creativity with commercial discipline, lead high-performing teams and translate trend, culture and customer insight into product that resonates in the moment and performs at scale.

The role

As Head of Product, you will own the end-to-end product function, setting the product vision and leading how ranges are built, traded and delivered across all categories. You will guide brand elevation, margin performance and execution excellence, ensuring product decisions support growth while staying true to the Beginning Boutique customer.

This is a dual role. You will directly buy and trade at least one key category while leading and developing Buyers, Designers and Production. You will partner closely with Planning, Creative, Marketing and Operations to ensure product, timing and storytelling land together.

What you will do:

  • Own and deliver the product strategy across all categories
  • Shape aspirational, trend-led ranges that feel relevant, wearable and commercial

Overview:

We are looking for a Lytton based Casual showroom assistant to join one of Australia’s leading and fastest growing online retailers. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our Showroom.
